RTX 4000 laptop: ecco le prime immagini

A poche settimane dal lancio, leakate le GPU di Nvidia per le soluzioni mobile.
Entro la fine del mese di febbraio saranno disponibili sul mercato i laptop con schede video RTX 4000 dedicate: stando a quanto pubblicato su Twitter da Moore’s Law is Dead, si tratta delle RTX 4070 e della RTX 4060/4050 mobile.

La RTX 4070 monterà un chip grafico AD106, mentre per le RTX 4060 e 4050 ci sarà la GPU AD107. Parliamo di processori grafici dalle dimensioni decisamente ridotte in confronto a quelli della generazione precedente: AD106 è del 45% più piccolo rispetto a GA106 (190 mm² vs 276 mm²), mentre AD107 del 25% rispetto alla controparte GA107.
What has not yet been confirmed are the transistor counts for each GPU. However, given the transistor density of TSMC 4N process which is used by all five Ada GPUs, we are looking at something between 19 and 22 billion of transistors. The AD106 GPU is said to offer up to 4608 CUDA cores and support for up to 128-bit wide memory bus. The same memory configuration will be available for AD107 processor and both will be limited to PCIe Gen 4.0 x8 interface. The smaller GPU should offer up to 3072 CUDA cores in their full implementation. Such configurations will be available with GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Laptop GPUs.
